The House of Cassamere is a noble house of the Kingdom of Lordaeron Restored that is situated in the Diamond Isles of Northeron. Founded by Dame Victoria Cassamere after her elevation to the status of baroness in reward for quashing a rebellion in the Diamond Isles, the House of Cassamere has become a long lived and well respected noble family. While possessed of no small amount of wealth, the House of Cassamere has never been especially prosperous or militarily powerful, instead more known for the unusual number of daughters that it has wedded away into the various noble houses of Blackmarsh and Lordaeron. It has been this strength in its many blood ties to stronger houses, however, that has protected the Cassamere family for generations, as well as the Great North Sea which isolates its island home from the warring provinces of the north.
The current head of the House of Cassamere is the fourth generation descendant of Baroness Victoria, Lucien Cassamere.
