Edmond Karrow, better known as Edmond DeLenoire to members of the Queen's Army, is a Warlock of unusual training that was rescued by Tamsyn LaVette and Andre Davol from the den of Dryda during the Scourge Invasion of Myrwood . His explanation for being there involved an ambush by Scourge forces in the middle of a skirmish between Alliance and Forsaken troops. When both sides were routed, Edmond fled into a nearby thicket of trees where he was caught in the webs of Dryda's kin.

His origins are shady, though the story he puts forth is that he is a man of simple birth, having grown up in a farming family on a small plot of land within the boundaries of Lordaeron, close to the Capital City. He claims he recieved his martial training from his father, who was a soldier during the First War, and learned basical magical ability through a few years spent studying among the mages in Dalaran. Edmond then spent the last several years as an Alliance adventurer, going wherever the wars sent him, or where treasure brought him.

In the aftermath of the Siege of Tulloch and the purging of Scourge from Myrwood, Edmond was granted knighthood by Lady LaVette and currently resides in Lianna.

Appearance[]

Edmond DeLenoire is a tall, broad shouldered, and exceptionally well built man, giving him a rather “Captain of the Guard” appearance. That of course comes with a back-straight-chin-up posture that would make any mother proud. His skin is dark, resembling something close to mocha brown and weather-beaten, with tiny cracks and wrinkles appearing as markers of the sun’s endless onslaught. Though he was above an average height for a man, he does not appear to be stretched-looking and lanky as some turn out to be. A powerful stride and a muscular frame overtly hint at martial training and experience, a good set of genes, or both.

His face too seems to be defined by similar features – strong featured and experienced. Edmond has a largely squared jaw, though most of it was hidden away behind his goatee and sideburns. In conjunction with his normally furrowed and pronounced brow line, he often gives off a feeling of natural sternness. His eyes are a deep, verdant green, and although they don’t dart about as much as those of others, there doesn’t seem to be any lack of awareness emanating from them. Between his eyes rests a somewhat hooked nose. His hair is black and is almost always kept short and well kept, and is thick and wavy in it’s consistency.

When he is not in some assorted collage of civilian clothing, he will most often be wearing his masterfully fitted armor. The armor consists of mostly interlocking metal plating which is laid over a long mail shirt, which in turn rests over silken undergarments. One who was experienced in metallurgy or blacksmithing could potentially recognize that the majority of the metal plates were fashioned from titanium, mined from the frozen north. Wrapped around his shoulder, clipped underneath his large pauldrons, is a thick, floor length fur cloak.

The man’s weapons appear to be incredibly well made as well, and kept in just as fine condition. Whether it is in his calloused hands or slung around his shoulder, Edmond is not without his spear. Just over 6 ½ feet long, it is a formidable weapon with a long, narrow spearhead, making it ideal for punching through armor or using it as a projectile, should the situation call for it. On his left hip rests a brilliant silver longsword, engraved with a dark green inscription near the guard.

Chained tightly to the other side of his body is a softly glowing lantern made of a silvery metal and glass window. It's light does not seem to be coming from a natural fire, and there is a small hatch that allows the lantern to be opened.
